Lil Wayne Speaks On Solitary Confinement, Notes Creative Outcomes

“Talent is best nurtured in solitude,” Lil Wayne wrote, in his unexpected ninth letter to his fans.

As reported earlier this month, New Orleans, Louisiana Rap superstar Lil Wayne was sent to solitary confinement, while presently serving out the during of his sentence on Rikers Island. The Young Money Records founder was stripped of his privileges after an MP3 player was discovered in his cell, qualifying as contraband.

In his latest, and unexpected ninth letter to fans (via WeezyThanxYou.com), Lil Wayne not only acknowledged his wrong-doings, but he said it may affect his music when he is expected to be released next month, November 4. “I admit, I fu#ked [sic] up and now I must deal with the consequences,” wrote Wayne. “Obviously, this gives me a lot of time to myself and a lot of alone time with my thoughts, which can be creatively dangerous.”

The rapper who just released I Am Not A Human Being two weeks ago, the week of his birthday, closed his letter in saying, “Talent is best nurtured in solitude.”
