Lloyd Banks Explains Why A G-Unit Reunion Won't Happen

Banks tells VladTV, he won’t initiate diss records, but “Some things you don’t get past.”

Having been ousted from G-Unit, both Game and Young Buck have both publicly stated they wouldn’t be opposed to being a part of the one-time, five-emcee lineup of G-Unit. But, in a recent interview with VladTV, Lloyd Banks explained why fans are more likely to see the original G-Unit trio of himself, 50 Cent and Tony Yayo.

“We all know what was said…the actions that were took,” Banks said. “Some things you don’t just get past. At this point, I’m really not concerned with it. I’m just pushing what Banks gotta do and getting my brand going.”

Banks added that the reunion talk would be more helpful for Buck and Game’s careers, as one of Young Buck’s attorneys recently told Nashville Tennessee’s City Paper that Buck “will be filing a lawsuit against his former manager, G-Unit label and Mr. Curtis Jackson.” Meanwhile, Game’s The R.E.D. Album was originally scheduled for an August 24 release, but has been delayed multiple times. While 50 Cent has expressed a desire to have a sit down meeting with Young Buck, he has expressed no desire to collaborate with Game or Buck again.
